For the past 10 years, Mort Aaronson has served as chairman of GreyMatters, a business incubator that restructured the assets of Mallfinder Network, subsequently creating PlaceWise Media®. As its chairman and CEO, Aaronson has led PlaceWise Media to become the largest network of mall shoppers in the United States. Under his leadership, PlaceWise Media recently launched Shoptopia®, an online and mobile digital shopping companion, extending the shopper-marketing network’s reach to every shopper in the country and more than a million retail locations. Shoptopia is PlaceWise Media’s realization of a Waste-Free AdvertisingSM environment on a 1:1 shopper marketing platform.
Aaronson’s unique background in online community building, consumer bundling, advertising, communications and wireless has given him keen insight into the consumer. He served as chairman of Morey Evans Group Advertising for five years and helped incubate Motive, an award-winning digital and experiential marketing agency recently acquired by Project: WorldWide. As CEO of en.able, he pioneered the now ubiquitous business practice of consumer service bundling. As CEO of Ricochet Networks, he worked with local communities to activate Internet services in underserved areas. At MCI, he oversaw the marketing, planning, support and operations of its $8 billion business markets division and played an instrumental role in the company’s investment in NewsCorp. And during his tenure as president and chief operating officer of KN Energy, the company became the first deregulated utility company in the United States. Aaronson has an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a graduate degree in direct marketing from New York University.

Lars is a proven entrepreneur with extensive experience in the mobile and digital media industries. Prior to Co-Founding SessionM, Lars was at Apple, Inc., where he was a member of the executive team of iAd, Apple’s mobile advertising business unit. While at iAd, Lars worked on a variety of initiatives including running partnerships and alliances in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Before Apple, Lars was Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of Business Development at Quattro Wireless, a leading mobile advertising platform that was acquired by Apple in 2009. Prior to Quattro, Lars was Vice President of Business Development at m-Qube, North America’s dominant mobile aggregator that was acquired by VeriSign in 2006. Lars started his career in investment banking and finance on the west coast, working for Montgomery Securities, and later for an affiliate fund of private equity firm Texas Pacific Group. Lars received an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and his AB with honors from Harvard University.

Upon the sale of Channel Intelligence to Google in early 2013 where he was CEO, Doug became Executive Chairman of myList which was spun out prior to the sale. myList enhances organic Facebook user engagement for brands. With myList, companies can leverage a platform delivering Facebook-native content about their products in a socially acceptable way boosting consumer engagement. Doug is also President of ICG a publicly traded SAAS software company where he has had many roles including CEO of WiseWire Technologies, which was acquired by Lycos; Chairman of Verticalnet through its IPO; CEO of ICG Europe; and CEO of Traffic.com, which was later acquired by Navteq. Paul brings more than 16 years of experience in broadband, cloud, and digital advertising technologies to his position as vice president of marketing at Turn. He leads a worldwide team responsible for branding, positioning, messaging, thought leadership, demand generation, content strategy, integrated marketing programs, and ultimately building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
Prior to Turn, Paul was vice president, corporate marketing and communications at Limelight Networks, a provider of web content acceleration and digital presence management solutions. In that role, he helped expand Limelight’s presence from a content delivery infrastructure provider to a provider of enterprise cloud solutions, leading award-winning digital ad campaigns in the process.
Paul held several leadership positions at Motorola, Inc. (now Motorola Mobility, a division of Google), leading communications for the mobile device and connected home divisions as well as for the corporation. He oversaw the global introduction of more than 100 mobile devices, managed the messaging and communications for more than 15 acquisitions and won two consecutive Billboard® Digital Entertainment Media Marketing Awards for the successful launch of the iRadio music service.

Erika oversees all global marketing, communications and branding efforts at Mojiva, where she leads the charge to develop innovative strategies to educate agencies and brand advertisers on the new and unique opportunities mobile offers. Erika works with industry touchstones like the MMA and the IAB to develop new mobile advertising standards, and just generally cause seismic shifts in market attitudes and behaviors.
Before Mojiva, Erika was at Apple where she developed the iAd global brand, authored thought leadership stories and led sales development efforts. Prior to Apple, Erika co-founded her own B2B/B2C brand strategy and creative marketing agency, Stairwell D, whose client list included Discovery Communications, NBC Universal, Admeld and Vibrant Media.
